Understanding my Database

14 01 2009

Obviously, I’ve shared the database for others to edit for their own use; however, it is pretty complicated for a variety of reasons.

I’ve tried to explain the naming of Queries and Aliases so you understand what’s going on:

  • Diagnostic Queries or Aliases start with “d”
  • PCI Queries or Aliases start with “p”
  • Queries ending in “Count” simply apply the “COUNT” function to a similarly named Query
  • All Aliases ending in “N” relate to the result of a Count Query (i.e. N for number of).

Hope that all makes sense.

I have tidied up the Alias naming for AngioDB9.
